Whelp... Here I am. All alone. Currently, I am sitting on my couch watching 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' while Mandi is having the time of her life in Annapolis.
After eating about 70 pretzels, sweet potato friea, and homemade Nutella brownies (recipe to follow), I've decided to finally update our little space. So, long story short, here is the jist of what has gone down the past few months:
- Mandi and I were so thoughtfully invited to the Navy ring dance by Emily and Ryan. I'd say I had a great time... with Jackie. Mandi on the other hand met her lover. They roamed the streets of Washington D.C. until the sun rose. It was love at first tour.
- I spent my summer being a gypsy. At one point, I had a toothbrush at 3 house, none of which was my own. The situation is a touchy subject so I'm going to leave it at that.
- On the eve (or early morning... however you want to look at it) of July 1st, I took a bit of a spill. My friends and I where having the time of our lives at Whiskey River when all of the sudden I decided to do the "walking man". Long story short... I spent the rest of that night in the hospital and got 7 stitches under my chin. In my defense, the floor WAS slippery. Mandi was present but no where to be found at the time.
- Kriss and Mandi started a relationship (which is the reason for my boredom). Ya ya ya, I'm happy for them and they are so cute it makes me want to vom but whatever... Brownies and ice cream will have to suffice.
- I suffered from a staph infection, strep throat, and mono all within 2 weeks. No need for further explanation. That's what I get for being a gypsy I guess.
- Mandi finally got a big girl job with YT Clothing. Super cute clothes for a super good price. Check it out.
There has been PLENTY more events that have occured since our last post but it would take hours to type and I'm sure no one really cares THAT much about our awesome and crazy life. From this point on, we will try to post as often as possible. Sweet dreams!
